Cornertech, Inc. was founded in Tampa, Florida (USA) by Steven McNichols and Adrian Martinez in 2018 with a very clear goal, to bring exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction to the manufacturing industry. We created a precision machine shop that serves multiple industries making parts out of numerous materials that vary in size and complexity.
We are constantly focused on delivering solutions for our clients, empowering our associates, and investing in state-of-the-art technology. Our Foundation:
Cornertech was founded on Christian values. Steven’s grandfather, Bob McNichols, was a former prisoner of war in WWII. On the morning of October 6, 1944, Bob, a U.S. Army Air Forces bombardier, departed for Berlin with eight fellow crew members in a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. Their mission was almost complete when a fleet of German planes interrupted their plans. The fleet took down the mighty aircraft as well as the precious life of every soldier on board, except Bob. After Bob came back to America, he was truly inspired, giving glory to God in everything he did, including his work. He started his own company, McNichols Company, which is still going strong 70 years later. Check out the full story on Bob here.

We use the latest technology, tooling, and lean manufacturing strategies to achieve high levels of speed and flexibility. Our state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) applications enable us to program jobs quickly with High Efficiency Machining (HEM) tool paths that increase speed and reduce tool wear. Computing power has led to a revolution in tooling technology over the last 15 years. At Cornertech we are constantly looking at what’s next to provide the best balance of precision, finish, and speed to our clients.
